our client specialise within the nuclear industry. We are looking to recruit a tendering engineer who is specilaise in the EC & I discipline.

The Role:
JOB DESCRIPTION: Tendering CE&I Engineer

PURPOSE:
The person will be responsible for the controlled implementation and co-ordination of control, electrical and instrumentation engineering tasks associated with the timely submission of winning tenders. The tendering CE&I engineer will report directly to the Tendering Co-ordination Manager and support in all relevant tendering activities across all areas of the Business.

KEY TASKS:
Responsible to the Tendering Co-ordination Manager for:
• Management & administration of CE&I engineering estimates, statements of works and scope to tender preparation process to BP2.1.
• Support to Bid preparation programme.
• Production of the Tender documentation including engineering commentaries, risk registers, assumptions, exclusions and opportunities.
• Ensure that the Gated Process controls are carried out and documented.
• Completion of contract deliverables in association with all Tender team members.
• Production of detailed estimates for winning tender submission
• Production of Risks, exclusions & assumptions registers.
• Liaison with the Client throughout the tender period as required.
• Establishing the Scope of Work and associated Work Breakdown Structure
• Agreeing Make / Buy decisions (through Functional Managers)
