The Company:
Our client is a major oil and gas company.

The Role:
The Electro and Instrument (E&I) Construction Advisor will be responsible for assurance of construction and decommissiong scope of work for all permanent and temporary Electrical and Instrument installations for the project camps.

The E&I Construction Advisor is to provide assurance of Contractor’s construction activities on all Electrical and Instrument equipment and systems up to Mechanical Completion, including pipeline and wellpad scope as required. The E&I Construction Advisor is to provide support to Commissioning activities as required.

Specifically, the E&I Advisor is responsible for:
• In particular to ensure that the Project HSSE Policy, no accidents, no harm to people and no damage to the environment is strictly observed;
• Review and approval of contractor documentation, including method statement, fabrication drawings and other technical documentation that may be relevant to a particular scope of work
• Follow up of Contractors inspection and test plans (ITP)
• Follow up of the EPC Contractors permanent and decommissioning E&I scope of work in field
• Ensure that preservation and maintenance on E&I equipment is correctly identified and is being carried out
• Participate in punch list sub-system walk down at MC relevant for sub-systems
• Provide discipline input to project completion/commissioning system
• Ensure all Punch Items on E&I equipment are actioned and closed out in a timely manner.
• Ensure Pre-LUN Electrical Energization procedure is in effect. If authorised by the Electrical Technical Authority act as COMPANIES Site Electrical Authority accountable for approving Livening-up-Notice (LUN) for each sub-system. Ensure that Electrical Isolations are applied in accordance with Electrical Isolations standard.
• Coordination towards the project engineering office for technical resolutions

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
University degree
Min 15 years experience
