Our Client Business is the exploration, production, refining, trading and distribution of energy.

The Role:
Roles & Responsibilities:

The main expectations of the post holder are:
• Engage all Competency Management and Assurance System (CMAS) maintenance stake-holders (maintenance staff, site superintendents, CMAS team) at the four locations to support and contribute to CMAS objectives.
• In his own disciplines, control delivery of CMAS maintenance plan and take necessary actions to achieve agreed targets.

• In his own disciplines, revise timely the PEMs (Plan d’évaluation Maintenance) which are technical documentations used to prepare the assessments.
• In his own disciplines, develop timely the models for the assessments checklist
• Collaborate with the discipline engineers and maintenance supervisors to develop the required technical documentation.
• Ensure the documentation is to the correct standard, approved and recorded in the database.

• In his own disciplines, perform formal assessments of the Maintenance Technicians.
• In his own disciplines, drive the delivery plan of the assessments on 4 sites.
• Ensure the assessment reports are to the appropriate standard and recorded in the database.
• In his own disciplines, deliver some basic trainings/coaching to the technicians according to the identified gaps.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of CMAS
• Work with the Training Organisation to define the necessary training.

It is imperative that the post-holder is committed to actively promote HSE.

Professional Training:
• A record of significant professional technical training in Electricity and Instrumentation.

Professional Experience:
• Strong industrial experience in Electricity and Instrumentation.
• Ten years experience in equipment maintenance with minimum 5 years in hydrocarbons production or treatment facilities.
• Experience in developing people, particularly at an operational site is desirable.

Specific Requirements:
• Direct experience in developing competency assessment programs and assessing individuals.
• Motivation and ability to successfully coach other staff, especially in a cross cultural environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of HSE systems and their application.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work and communicate in both French and English.
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

Degree Level or equivalent and/or strong operational or maintenance supervisory experience
Languages Needed: French – Fluent (Mandatory) ; English - Fluent
