The Company:
Our client has been engaged in the exploration and production of natural gas in the Netherlands and the North Sea Continental Shelf since 1964. In the Dutch sector of the North Sea, gas is produced from 22 platforms and 3 subsea production installations. Most of the platforms are unmanned and remotely operated; four have gas treatment facilities.

The Role:
- Supervises commissioning activities for offshore installation modification work (MSR) having a budget up to 2 M€
- Contributes to commissioning activities of project’s having a budget up to 100 M€
- Average number of construction jobs per year: 1 project or equivalent 20 MSR’s.
- Act as discipline expertise holder for commissioning activities.

- Engineering Preparation :
• Collect and review Engineering lists.
• Populate Pre-commissioing and Commissioning ICAPS database for his discipline as per OPERCOM method.
• Produce Operational Test Procedures.
• Definition of manpower resources for Commissioning execution.
• Participation of the Commissioning planning.

- Pre-commissioning Execution :
• Monitor Pre-commissioning execution in liaise with Construction.
• Follow up Pre-commissioning progress with ICAPS and drive the Constuction to ensure that subsystems reach
The Ready for Commissioning status as per Commissioning priorities.
• Review Pre-commissioning dossiers content at the RFC stage (“As Pre-commissioned” Red&Blue markep-up
Documentation, punch items list, status index).

- Commissioning Execution :
• Participate in relevant Factory Acceptance Tests
• Execute Commissioning activities from Ready for Commissioning status to Ready for Start-up status as per
OPERCOM method.
• Report Commissioning progress to ICAPS administrator and ensure that subsystems reach the Ready for Start-
Up status on time as per Start-up priorities.
• Optimize Commissioning activities on the manufacture yard in order to minimize off shore Commissioning
• Follow-up punch items list clearance progress.
• Provide “As Commissioned” Red&Blue marked-up documentation for his discipline.
• Ensure Commissioning status index completion at RFSU stage for his discipline.
• Organize Vendor assistance during Commissioning.
• Schedule Commissioning activities for his discipline in order to optimize Commissioning team resources.
• Promote safety within the commissioning activities and verify that safety procedures are implemented for his
• Ensure that all technical informations are properly recorded, collected and available for inspection/reference
As required by law regulations and company policies.

- Commissioning of new/modified systems to be handed-over to Field Operation Department, ’’Ready For Start-Up’’
- Respect of local rules and regulations; Company referential, HSE and Quality objectives

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Qualification: BSc in Instrumentation & Process Control, or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum 5 years within the Petroleum industry
- Specific knowledge: Detailed knowledge of Instrument Engineering.
- Pro-active with good organisational skills, team spirit, strong communication skills (verbal & written) and service minded
- English and Dutch languages are mandatory, both spoken & written
