The Company:
A global Oil & Gas operator with extensive operations in the Caspian Region.

The Role:
a) Demonstrable HSSE Leadership and personal commitment to Safety
b) Awareness of safety management systems.
c) Track record of experience gained in similar oil and gas / petrochemical / power generation related
international projects, in a similar role leading to development of the following skill sets:
a. Commissioning , start-up and operations functions
b. Mechanical completion of equipment & plant
c. Construction, commissioning and Enerigisation of HV and LV equipment
d. Completions and handover to commissioning procedures
e. Site Integrity Management (IM) standards and the application of IM to Completions
f. Control of Work processes during work execution
d) Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams and communicate with discipline engineers
e) A proven decisive and pro-active team player with good communication skills
f) Proven ability to develop procedures , practices and strategies from first principles
g) Previous experience of Topsides build projects. Previous knowledge and experience of working with the SHMP (GOC)


o Ensure a commitment to best HSSE performance by E&I team for client and for contractor and contractor’s workforce
o Establish technical and installation engineering routine and allied integrity process with deck build contractor construction electrical engineer and construction supervisors.
o Participate in Energization risk assessments held by commissioning team
o Participate in daily tool box talks on work site safety behaviour and hazard mitigation.
o Lead client’s expectations on quality and integrity in electrical installation for deck build
o Agree with contractor’s electrical engineer the work pack scheduling for equipment installation and fixing
o Assist contractor’s national recruitment strategy for mobilisation of Instrument engineers
o Participate in client Construction group risk register & Lessons Learned activities
o Engage in technical interface between design engineering contractor and client Construction Management Team
o Ensure along with C & EA teams that Azeri Authority approvals are achieved
o Ensure LLs from COP project are included in contractor electrical installation schedule
o At site, ensure the construction effort is being applied in accordance with project schedule and client construction defined practice.
o Assist in the development of the Mechanical Completion execution plan for contractor deck build and yard completion.
o Deliver installation reports and ensure that the contracts’ SOW includes learning from constructability issues
o Inspect quality and integrity of electrical equipment on arrival at contractor’s stores or warehouse (goods inward inspection).
o Witness and review installation of equipment & plant on the decks of QU & PR
o Report on any non-conformance identified at either goods receipt or at equipment installation.
o Agree and monitor ROS dates with E & P and ensuring the contracts SOW account for the dates
o Manage the clarification of Contractor requests for change in scope, or for design engineering introduced change through a robust MOC process
o Monitor Contractor’s progress and assist in achieving best productivity for work done.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering Degree. Corporate Membership of Institute of Measurement & Control.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum: HNC / HND or equivalent in engineering discipline, business degree in management
