The Role:
Contribute to a timely completion, based on safety and quality, of the E/I/T related fabrication works of the new facilities for the client's Topside Project. This includes participation in constructability reviews during design phase, the planning process, follow up on supplier packages and supervision and guidance of the fabrication and installation works through mechanical completion and preparation for commissioning.
The E & I Construction Supervisor shall bring specialist skills and be competent in all work associated with the assigned objects at both Contractor Eng. Office, at the Suppliers premises and at the Construction field offices.
Ensure that Company HSE&Q policies and procedures are adhered to in all phases of the work.
General HSE follow-up and monitoring and provide leadership to the local workforce at the construction yard
Provide constructability input into the complete EPC process
Liaise with Construction Contractor and a group of EIT Inspectors to ensure that the client's Topside is constructed and completed as per the design requirements and to the quality standard necessary for compliance with regulatory- and Company requirements
Assist Construction EICT Lead to help ensure that the EICT trades construction work is MC completed on time and with a 'seamless' transfer over to the Commissioning team
Provide supervision on all aspects of E&I related activities, from close follow up with vendors/suppliers during the fabrication stages, FAT’s, receiving inspections, installation, preservation, hook up through Mechanical Completion and preparation of pre commissioning activities
Provide technical assistance and support to Construction Contractor on technical issues that may arise
Participate in on site inspections and in the punch list clearance process
Participate in the handover process from Mechanical Completion to Commissioning
Monitor progress and assess progress reports issued by Suppliers/Vendors related to construction related issues
HSE awareness and commitment to excellent safety performance
Apply quality management principles and processes

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
University degree or equivalent within engineering & construction
Less formal education may be compensated with documented relevant experience
Min. 15 years of experience in construction of larger North Sea projects and completion of EPC Contracts
Good and documented knowledge of Norwegian regulatory requirements (NORSOK) and IEC standards
Working knowledge and experience with Norwegian offshore engineering- and construction codes and standards
Working experience with SE Asian contractors
Regulatory competence for the petroleum industry
Fluent in English, verbal and written

Prepared and willing to travel and commute
