The Role:
Previous LNG Cryogenic / or Petro Chemical Project / Operations Experience is desired. The role requires a disciplined knowledge of Plant Operations and experience & involvement in primarily the Instrumentation Field. There is cross functional knowledge required of Electrical systems and controls. A sound knowledge of Instrumentation Commissioning involving Production facilities that include Smart Transmitters and Custody Transfer Metering will be a decided benefit. Experience should include exposure to Ultrasonic and invasive metering technologies, familiarization with logic controls utilizing DCS & PLC controls. Must be fully conversant in reading and interpreting P&IDs / PFDs associated with Gas Turbine, Compressor & Expander control systems. Should be conversant with Hart protocols and fiber communications interfaces. The role of disciplined Inst. Operations representative requires a degree of autonomy and should require a minimum amount of supervision to perform the roles explained.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Present a record of Vendor training courses and seminars attended. Familiar with the applicable industry standards for Electrical / Instrumentation equipment located in Hazardous Areas. Good safety knowledge and commitment is essential. Previous operator work experience is a benefit but not essential.
