The Company:
A major Oil and Gas client working on offshore projects in Western Australia.

The Role:
Working as a E&I Implementation Engineer on a major shutdown project you will be based in Perth with some offshore visits.

Come and be part of the team and work on the biggest facility in the southern hemisphere.

Working as part of the Shutdown team you will be required to perform the following functions;
Prepare all work packs, Inspection and Test Plans and associated method statements and work instructions.
Liaise with the Customer on all technical aspects.
Provide a focal point for all technical based queries from subcontractors and suppliers.
Provide written reports on implementation activities as required by the Contract Manager.
Assess risks and hazards involved in tasks, and methods to manage the hazards in order to prevent incidents, injury and damage.
Provide support and technical input in the development of work packs for the commissioning of installations and repairs. i.e. Loop / function testing and pressure testing.

Due to the urgency of this position, only people with working rights to Australia should apply.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Previous Offshore Exp - Shutdown/Maintenance on FSO or FPSO
Current TBOSIET or BOSIET
Work Pack experience - ideally creating them rather than just working with them
Supervisory Exp
Computer Literate: Word, Excel & a Maint System e.g SAP

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
A formal engineering qualification or a minimum of 5 years experience in project coordination within the offshore engineering, petrochemical and maintenance industries.
You will need to have experience producing workpacks and test plans experience working on shutdown projects, excellent communication, leadership and supervisory skills.
Good knowledge of maintenance related engineering problems (e.g corrosion, erosion, Hazardous Area Equipment etc.)
