The Company:
Our client has been active in the Dutch sector of the North Sea since 1964 and operates nine offshore production and exploration licenses. In addition, they have interests in seventeen non-operated production and exploration licenses.

The Role:
General:
• Plan and coordinate the implementation of (standard) service provider related Electrical & Instrumentation preventative maintenance work based (inclusive shutdown related) on workorders initiated from the Computerized Maintenance Management System (Maximo).
• Assure follow-up on executed Electrical & Instrumentation planned maintenance work (reports review, follow-up maintenance work, etc.).
• Provide first line day-2-day Electrical & Instrumentation maintenance support to the offshore organisation with the emphasis on electrical works.

Specific:
• Comply with and contribute to the upkeep of the general risk management policy, as part of the Loss Prevention Management system, in relation to health, safety, environment and asset integrity (preventing accidents, damage or loss of containment).
• Assure compliance with relevant (if applicable) rules and/or legislation. Maintain validity of certificates (if any) of assigned equipment.
• Act as Technical Authority for assigned documents and/or systems.
• Address assigned actions (from Synergi) resulting from incident/hazard reviews.
• Manage assigned maintenance contracts in conjunction with Dana NL procedures to ensure goods and services are provided with the desired quality at acceptable cost (according to the OPEX budget).
• Contribute to OPEX development optimisation.
• Responsible for the upkeep of technical documentation, such as (but not limited to) P&ID’s, diagrams, maintenance manuals, etc. in area of expertise, in close cooperation with the document controller.
• Generate & implement improvement initiatives based on (root cause) analysis of cost drivers (maintenance cost) and technically related performance killers (deferment/losses), in close cooperation with all relevant people.
• Realise Planned Maintenance Routines optimisation where needed.
• Participate in the onshore emergency response team.
• Act as onshore shutdown coordinator for assigned (if) shutdowns.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Formal technical training on at least Middle Technical School level (discipline electrical engineering).
• 3-5 years of experience in an electrical/instrumentation maintenance engineering & coordination function in the upstream oil & gas/process industry.
• Proven knowledge of electrical systems.
• Contract(or) management skills.
• Vendor relationship management skills.
• Good command of the English and Dutch language, written and spoken.
• General computer skills in office programs.
