Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
A new opportunity has arisen for an E&I Manager based on a 28/28 rotation to Barrow Island.

The core responsibilities of the role includes:
Construction Area Management
• Acts as the member of a multi-functional project execution team responsible for all Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecommunication construction activities for a three-train LNG plant. The plant is a combination of modularized and stick built areas. Provides strategic overview and interfacing of all Barrow Island downstream construction activities.
• Manages the EPCM, Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecommunication area construction team. Interfaces with and influences senior and experienced EPCM and contractor personnel.
• Provides strategic overview and interfacing of electrical, instrumentation and telecommunication activities and issues on Barrow Island for all Gorgon LNG plant.
• Responsible for assuring adherence to Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecommunication area execution plans. Proactively anticipates threats and opportunities, and ensures these are being addressed in an effective manner by the EPCM team.
• Provides interface oversight across all electrical, instrumentation and telecommunication EPCM subcontracts for consistency of execution regarding IIF/HSEQ, shared resources, processes, contract management practices, planning, scheduling and interfaces with contractors.
• Provides assurance of electrical, instrumentation and telecommunication EPCM quality (QA/QC), technical services, project controls and materials management/logistics organizations. Ensures consistency of work within the electrical, instrumentation and telecommunication disciplines by alignment with the instrument electrical engineering team.
• Acts as the senior electrical authority on Barrow Island, inclusive of oversight of the integrity of isolation controls and their interface with the construction, preservation, commissioning and Permit to Work processes.
• Assures area management of electrical, instrumentation and telecommunication construction commodities, inclusive of ensuring equipment preservation, installation and testing programs are appropriate and do not compromise equipment performance.
• Assures that electrical, instrumentation and telecommunication construction processes are developed and executed to protect Company assets
• Effectively manages and controls change. Applies company Project Development and Execution Process and Capital Stewardship principles to maintain effective communications and the free flow of information between work groups in order to assess and minimize the impact of concession requests, schedule changes, and technical interface queries.

Managing Personnel:
• Manages the performance of the site Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecommunication area construction team
• Manages the team competencies
• Undertakes effective contractor management through task definition, performance monitoring and performance management.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• 20+ years site electrical, instrumentation and telecommunication construction experience,
• 10+ years as an Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecommunication Construction Manager,
• Competent in the use of common computer systems and software,
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and a mastery of electrical, instrumentation and telecommunication construction management, sequencing and methodologies,
• Mastery of LNG electrical, instrumentation and telecommunication construction and experience in dealing / interfacing with contractors, and
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
• Strong commitment to creating and maintaining an excellent health and safety environment
• Must have strong electrical experience including power management, HV switching, construction completion, turnover and QC.
