The Role:
An Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation Engineer is required to work as part of a team working on a range of projects, varying in value.

Report to the Projects Department Manager and provide assistance to a number of Project Managers/Engineers with E, C & I engineering aspects of capital projects by acting as the interface between Client teams, appointed contractors and equipment suppliers to ensure that the project is designed, installed and commissioned in a safe and compliant manner.

• Will flex between projects which will be at different stages; appraise, select, define, execute and operate.
• Act as the interface between VFL and the OEM/principle contractor to ensure VFL’s electrical standards are adhered to in all new projects.
• Review/design E,C&I, assisting principle contractors where necessary.
• Review E,C&I design for each project with VFL E,C&I Engineers and Technicians.
• Work closely with the installation contractor during construction to ensure full compliance with VFL’s E,C&I standards.

We are ideally seeking a time served candidate with a proven track record in a similar role and strong interpersonal skills.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
A degree in an engineering discipline would be advantageous but is not essential. If the candidate is not multiskilled a bias towards C&I with a working knowledge of E is preferred.
