The Company:
Our client has been engaged in the exploration and production of natural gas in the Netherlands and the North Sea Continental Shelf since 1964. In the Dutch sector of the North Sea, gas is produced from 22 platforms and 3 subsea production installations. Most of the platforms are unmanned and remotely operated; four have gas treatment facilities.

The Role:
SITUATION IN ORGANISATION
- Reports to the team leader Document Control within the Project Control Section of ECD.
- Jobholder is responsible for ECD Technical Documentation control and expediting for Projects and MSRs (Modification Study Request).

JOB DIMENSIONS
- Reliable information and documents are crucial for design, engineering, construction and for the performance of strategic studies related to Company developments and asset management.
- Systematic document storage and retrieval contributes to the efficiency in the performance in studies, engineering and construction activities
- Jobholder works autonomously and follows Company rules and procedures.

ACTIVITIES;
HSE
- Contributes to achieving Client and department HSE objectives, report anomalies any HSE events;
- Reports any incident when witnessed (HiPo, injuries, spill…);
- Contributes to the implementation of corrective actions when required/requested;
- Participates in HSE training as per the ECD training matrix;

Document Control
- Performs daily document activities such as the upload, distribution, preparation of reviews, and filing of technical documentation resulting from ECD activities related to MSRs and projects;
- Distributes technical documents internally as well as to our main Engineering and Construction contractors and other third parties;
- Provides assistance to requests for information or data to internal/external entities;
- Provides correct Client document numbers to Client personnel, Contractors and Vendors;
- Gives instructions to Contractors regarding document delivery in accordance with Company specifications and guidelines respecting the terms and conditions of the contracts and/or purchase orders.
- Verifies the work performed by Contractors to ensure that rules and regulations with regards to document management are respected and reports in case of non-compliance.
- Compiles and provides various weekly reports (including but not limited to: MSR Document status, running reviews), with the aid or PRODOM and Microsoft Excel
- Sets up new reports when required
- Expedites relevant parties, based on the Engineering Master Document Register and Vendor Master Document Register, for required or late documentation.
- Expedites relevant internal parties regarding outstanding reviews of MSR documentation.
- Offers assistance and/or training to Client personnel, Contractors and Vendors regarding the use of PRODOM.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensures availability of all technical documentation / information packages
- Ensures correct document flow and review loops for MSRs and projects.
- Ensures correct and timely delivery of weekly reports.
- Ensures set up of new reporting where required.
- Ensures all PRODOM users are provided training and assistance.

Location:
- Jobholder is located in Den Haag in the Project Control Section within Engineering and Construction Department.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Experienced in document management, information systems and Electronic Document Management Systems.
- Good technical and practical knowledge of both English and Dutch;
- Advanced level of Excel is mandatory.
- Good working knowledge of Word and Outlook;
- Service minded attitude;
- High level of accuracy;
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Interest in the Oil&Gas industry.
