The Role:
Definition and implementation of the strategy for the Documentation Management System CFT from the beginning of the Project up to the hand-over of such documentation to the Operations team and to Archives.
Definition and organisation of the Project EDMS from definition of request to Contractors up to the delivery to Operations team.
Coordination of a team of Document Controllers throughout the Execution phase up to Final Doc completion.

Defines and organises the Project EDMS from definition of internal requirements, follow-up of CFT up to set-up of EDMS tool including interfaces with EPC Contractors up to the delivery to Operations team and Archives.
Develops and maintains a detailed project specific user friendly guide for EDMS.
Supervises and coordinates implementation, modification and maintenance of EDMS in order to manage all flows of documents either in electronic form or hard copy.
Coordinates Document Controllers on each work location including trainings to ensure consistent implementation of EDMS system in all project work locations.
Prepares the handover of Project Documentation to Operations team and filing of Project documents to archives.
Perform constant analysis of the documents produced by Contractors to check their compliance with Project standards regarding numbering, graphic charts, symbols and all other aspects related to documents quality.
Checks the progress and reports of Contractors documents production submission dates (actual/planned and % complete) in coordination with planning engineer.
Provide Project Control Manager with all relevant information required for weekly/monthly project reporting.
Close liaison with Contractors DCC staff on all matters regarding document control / EDMS.
Provides EDMS training, advice and support to all project staff at all project locations.
Defines and organises the Project EDMS from definition of request to Contractors up to the delivery to Operations team.
Prepares the handover of Project Final Documentation to Operations team and the filing of Project documents to archives.

Position based first in Algiers, and then during execution phase at selected Contractor’s premises.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualification in Document Control Management
IT skills (preferably in EDMS development)

Good experience in:
EDMS development and administration.
Document Control team Management,
Oil & Gas industry projects through different phases (FEED, CFT, Design, Procurement and Construction, Precom, Com, Start-up…).
Interfaces and Final Documentation Management
Good knowledge and practice of Microsoft Office, Lotus, EDMS, etc…
