The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The Energy Management Team sits within Body Electronics under Core Electrical Engineering. The team is responsible for setting vehicle level targets & ensuring robust sign off of total vehicle performance with respect to electrical energy consumption, vehicle functional behaviour & vehicle stand time. The EEM Validation role encompasses all aspects of generating & execution of appropriate test plans to robustly prove out compliance of whole vehicle Electrical Energy Management. The role includes test plan generation, on-going maintenance of test plan within programme constraints, robust data capture, storage & reporting to underpin evidence pack generation in support of sign off. The role requires proactive management of issues, a flexible working approach & a zero faults forward mind-set. Home site is Gaydon but travel to other midlands based sites will be necessary for this role.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
1. Experience of "hands on" vehicle testing including electrical system fault investigation, system interrogation & logical resolution procedures.
2. Project / test planning including appropriate issue resolution & escalation as necessary.
3. Ability to work both as part of a team but also in isolation where necessary to deliver the necessary output.

Diagnostic systems knowledge.
Experience requirements / test case completion.
Knowledge of our clients specific systems (AIMS, RMDVV etc).
GNVQ / HNC / City & Guilds / Equivalent.
