The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Responsible for the effective implementation of the EH&S management system (work processes, standards, procedures) to its objectives and maintain the license to operate.
1. Implement detailed, task level, day-to-day EH&S (Environmental, Industrial Hygiene, Safety & Reactive Chemicals, Health Services) programs, utilizing the EH&S work process, standards and procedures.
2. Ensure that the environmental, IH, Health & Safety and Reactive chemical aspects of Operating Discipline are adequate and applied to achieve EH&S performance goals.
3. Act as the plant resource for related EH&S information regarding procedures, guidelines and standards and plant contact for environmental, IH, Health, Safety, reactive chemical issues.
4. Coach teams and individuals on EH&S related tasks and activities.
5. Advice manufacturing management on EH&S performance and compliance related matters on his unit/envelope.
6. Assist in developing and achieving area or plant’s EH&S goals.
7. Perform/coordinate certain environmental, IH and reactive chemical monitoring, data collection, analysis and reporting for the Plant.
8. Participate in the environmental, I/H, Health, Safety and reactive chemical related reviews and projects.
9. Conduct assessments and audits in the EH&S related areas and ensure compliance tasks are completed.
10. Conduct and document investigations of incidents and ensure follow up actions to prevent recurrence.
11. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• A degree in Engineering Technology or closely related field or
• Completion of Industrial Training Program.
• Completed two-year degree in Engineering Technology.
• Fluency in English.
