The Role:
-Responsible to work with APAC EHS Professionals Team to ensure site are comply to all company EHS Standards and group engineering procedures apply to the site operation.
-Work with Site management team and Regional EHS manager to develop and implement country EHS Objectives and improvement plan. Ensure effective implementation in line with country goals and business objectives. Provide support and co-ordinate with Regional EHS Manager for any support need to deliver the EHS and engineering objectives as plan together with continuous improvement.
-Manage and supervise Site services co-coordinator and ISO co-coordinator to ensure full comply in all Engineering work plan and all ISO annual plan.
-Manage to ensure the country Crisis Management & Emergency Response system and team are always ready through training, coaching and workshop. Work with Regional EHS Manager for continuous improvement.
-Manage and provide EHS & Engineering support the development & implementation of major site Capex project to project manager.
-Ensure that all various routine administrative tasks under the EHS, Engineering are completed to satisfy the needs of the business.
-Manage to ensure businesses’ compliance to PEHS regulations in Thailand.Immediately alert Thailand management team, Regional Product EHS Manager in case of potential non-compliances.
-Function as country expert advising all matters pertaining to PEHS regulations in Thailand. Up to date the regulatory compliance and chemical lists related to PU Thailand.
-Ensure regulatory compliance checks are carried out for all products / raw materials / samples for product development and necessary registration and permit license are ready at site before import & use in production & use in TS lab evaluation in Thailand and export from Thailand to other countries.
-Take full responsibility to manage and actively involved in monitoring the development of new chemical substances notification and in handling chemical notification in future for Thailand businesses
-Provide regulatory awareness training to businesses as when required
-Be involved in creating Thailand specific GHS MSDS & labels for Thailand businesses. Co-ordinate with internal company supply plants and external suppliers to ensure product and raw materials import into Thailand are compliance with Thailand GHS regulation.
-Manage the operation of Shepherd regulatory compliance database
-Manage the function of ChemMate (Safety Label and MSDS)
-Manage the function of LPI (Label Printing Interface)
-Provide training to businesses as when required
-Be trained and understanding company’s global product stewardship program, databases usage, functions and the applications
-Full support the businesses in Thailand to respond to customer enquiries and complete customer questionnaires related to Product EHS
-Support company’s initiatives on product stewardship through actively communicating with suppliers, customers and company’s associates as when required
-The job holder will assist the Regional Product EHS Manager in managing activities related to issue management in Thailand.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Male or Female ,age 33 up
-Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety or Industrial Engineer background with at least 5 years working experience in Environmental Health and Safety management, Engineering and Product regulatory compliance in chemical industries. Experience in Polyurethane industry is advantageous.
-At least 3-5 years working experience in ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:1996 in Chemical industry as ISO lead auditor, EMR ,QMR.
-Good command in English.
-Good computer literacy.
