The Company:
Our client is involved in a major Gas Development Project in SE Asia. The Project involves the Development of a number of gas fields offshore Malaysia.

The Role:
The role of EHS Site Representative will provided general overview to the EPCIC Contractor/Sub-contractor to ensure compliance with contract EHS requirements and Hess EHS Expectations.

Key areas of focus will be Topside and Jackets Fabrication experience, load out and offshore installation.

Duties will includes:

• Review EHS documents from EPCIC Contractors as per MDR list.
• Review Emergency Response documents from EPCIC Contractors.
• EHS representation at EPCIC Construction Risk Assessments / EHS workshops
• EHS Site Inspections and Audit: EPCIC Office and Fabrication Sites.
• Development of System for EHS Performance Monitoring and Reporting.
• Ensure that PMT employees, contractors and site visitors receive EHS inductions for construction.
• Register in the action register all observed non-compliances arising from walkthroughs, daily inspection, audit, etc.
• Attend every EHS meetings conducted at site/yards
• Preparing written weekly and monthly EHS reports, statistics and presentations related to EHS performance
• Lead & anticipate the EHS Programs conducted by Contractors
• Participate and lead as maybe required with respect to incident investigations
• Follow up to ensure that corrective actions are implemented where necessary and ensure compliance with any certification requirements
• Ensuring workers are provided with suitable PPE and investigating procedures for working in hazardous environments or with potentially harmful substances.
• Ensure regular emergency response exercises and drills are conducted, records maintained and recommendations for improvements raised and actioned as necessary to achieve the highest level of preparedness in any emergency
• Supervise the regular inspection of fire-fighting, safety and emergency response equipment

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Diploma/degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• Must possess Professional Certificate in Safety & Health Officer Course preferably from NIOSH or NEBOSH International Certificate.
• Possess valid Medical and BOSIET (OPITO) certification during the assessment of Technical Evaluation (Optional).
• Experience in lifting and slinging operations with specific expertise in onshore/offshore heavy lifts.
• Relevant involvement in MINIMUM three (3) project campaigns for facilities/structures such as Jackets and Topsides which must involve Fabrication AND Offshore Installation OR Hook-Up & Commissioning (HUC).
• Must possess Scaffolding Certificates and able to inspect Scaffolding structures
