The Role:
Position Summary:
The Environment, Health, Safety & Social Responsibility (EHS&SR) Supervisor is responsible for planning the daily EHS&SR activities in support of the Utica project. The position coordinates a range of EHS&SR services and applies analytical, technical, and industry knowledge, standards and practices to achieve desired results while working closely with assigned business partners. The EHS&SR Supervisor will manage specific projects and initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency of EHS&SR services while building strong working relationships with business partners, professional peers, other team members, contractors, suppliers, and other external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide visible EHS leadership and support to the Unconventional Capture and Appraise organization operations by conducting site visits to establish and build a working relationship with the workforce. The purpose is to communicate and understand the potential risks and needs of the workforce and to assist in recognizing and minimizing potential hazards.
• Participate in risk management processes in accordance with internal Risk Management Standard.
• Analyze EHS data, identify trends if present, and make recommendations to management to improve performance.
• Coordinate personnel required to permit and report on various environmental requirements (air, water, and waste).
• Assist in organizing and facilitating periodic EHS meetings for personnel.
• Provide incident management oversight and monitor cases to ensure incidents are adequately investigated and that corrective actions are implemented and completed.
• Supervise contract employees and be a resource for colleagues with less experienced personnel.
• Assist with the implementation of the EHS Management System, internal EHS Policies and Procedures, EHS training programs and early phase Emergency and Medical Response procedures to ensure that the highest level of compliance and readiness is achieved in Unconventional Capture and Appraise operations.
• Plan, coordinate, and track EHS training required for project employees and contractors to ensure compliance with internal and governmental requirements.
• Facilitate and perform EHS reviews of new and existing contractors to ensure they meet internal contractor requirements.

Education, Experience and Competencies:
• 2+ years field-based experience in EHS supporting oil and gas projects with preferred exposure to unconventional resource developments
• 8+ years oil and gas industry experience
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required
• Proficiency in business partnering competency required
• Highly effective interpersonal skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and influence and train others in EHS programs
• Must be a self-starter and able to work with limited supervision
• Knowledge of State and Federal EHS regulations
• Position may require up to 20% domestic travel
• Must be familiar with basic Microsoft office software
