The Company:
An international EPC Company involved in LNG and Mining Projects.

The Role:
My client is currently looking for 9 EI Supervisor to perform a FIFO role to Barrow Island. There is the requirement for 6 day shift and 3 night shift contractors.

Responsibilities

•Provide leadership support for safety and accident prevention.
•Implement safety procedures, subcontractor safety meetings and site inspections
•Create and maintain an environment in which pursuit of excellence, zero accident, and zero rework is part of the site culture.
•Monitor performance and productivity for E&l installation work performed by the MEI&C contractor and ensure adequate levels of Supervision.
•Ensure all work is carried out safely and correctly and that the craftsmen have the correct certification and competency level.
•Produce weekly reports for the ACM
•Ensure assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule and to quality standards.
•Work as an interface between the MEI&C Contractor supervision and the General Superintendent to ensure a one team approach and harmonious working environment.
•Monitor project plans and specifications for constructability, conformance to regulatory agency requirements and productivity improvement.
•Review handover I punch lists, carryover works, shipped loose items and disconnects proposed from the module yards. Review the work-scope documentation received from the fabrication yards
•Review work packs to enable a smooth flow of construction activities on BWI
•Continually monitor Construction activities and review ways of removing man-hours from BWI
•Advise the project team of status, issues, impacts, risk, and cost influence factors on the remaining to go scope.
•Review of system completions conduct system walk down representing construction
• Ensure Electrical installation work is complete prior to punching and handing over to the commissioning team.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Electrical Engineering Diploma or similar post trade technical qualifications
•Formal training in the installation of electrical equipment in hazardous areas
•Competent person in accordance with AS4761 to work with electrical equipment for hazardous areas and good working knowledge and experience of AS4761 and AS2381
•Able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of implementation of Electrical Safety Lock Out
•Preform Permit Authority role for E&l works
•Experience in a similar role within the Construction industry, specifically for construction of LNG plants.
•Experience in Electrical pre fabrication and installation on large projects.
•Demonstrate ability to work with multidiscipline field supervision and contractors
•Good understanding and able to read Engineering drawings, layout drawings, wiring drawings and P&ID's
•Strong track record for delivering project requirements on time with zero safety incidents and accidents.
