The Company:
The client is a leader within the Automation and Control Systems field with operations in 100 countries worldwide. They specialise in providing integrated solutions to the Transmission and Distribution and Oil & Gas industry with projects offshore and overseas.

The Role:
Reporting to the Marine Service Manager you will be based in the Aberdeen office and be involved in the development of the service business .You will assist in the development of customer Service proposals, supporting all of the activities including interfacing with customers. My client is looking for a sales professional who has the ability to communicate at all levels within the end user market, preferably with experience in the O&G Electrical business. Successful candidates must be able to work alone and be self motivated, but operate as part of a wider team. Candidates must have a proven track record within an Electrical Service environment.

Key duties will include:

 Taking responsibility for business development and sales within the Service portfolio across all business areas (Local, Cross border and Global)
 Maximising the scope of the existing portfolio ensuring contract renewal is achieved when desired by the organisation
 Assisting with the development of the Service Organisation strategy and look to create a framework that allows the team to perform effectively and deliver the Service products
 Taking accountability for the performance of the Co-ordination process
 Interacting and managing key customers and their expectations of the Service product
 Ensuring legal compliance for all customers
 Planning and driving the overall growth within the Oil & Gas Electrical business by increasing the portfolio as well as new business opportunities to meet the agreed targets.
 Developing and implementing the business strategy towards the customer, through understanding the customer, its business, its strategy and their industry which will then need translating into a strategic business action plan.
 Contributing to the overall profitable growth across the business
 Securing and reporting on electrical project based opportunities and collaborating with Project groups to successful conclusion

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 Electrical product and systems knowledge
 Robust Commercial acumen and have a proven sales track record
 Fluent written & spoken English
 Demonstrate excellent customer focus
 Sound communication, presentation and negotiation skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
 Engineering and electrical background, qualified to degree status
 Marine industry experience
