The Role:
The Electrical and Instrument Supervisor is overall responsible for the operability of electrical, instrument, control and automation systems on the vessel. This includes maintenance, updating of documentation and procedures and coordination/supervision of E&I vendors.

The are fully responsible for the day to day activities of their staff and ensures duties are carried out in a safe manner.

-To prepare and distribute jobs to staff according to job instructions
-To ensure that the electrical installation complies with the applicable rules and regulations
-To create plans and complete administrative tasks
-Follow up drawing file, vendor service reports and general documentation related to E&I activities
-To plan, distribute and coordinate E&I modification jobs
-Carry out repair and maintenance as required
-Report the E&I status of the installation and any changes/modifications made or other matters of importance

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Ship's Electrical, Electrical and/or Instrument Technical Education, preferably with High Voltage certification
-Extensive experience from Electrical/Instrument technical areas on vessels and/or mobile unit
-This will be working on a 2/3 rotation
