The Company:
This vacancy will initially be based in London and then Bifab in August this year and subsequently offshore SNS.

The Role:
•Champion QHSE across the project
•Liaise with design Contractor teams to ensure Commissioning considerations are included in detailed design.
•Preparing the commissioning scope and execution plans as directed by lead discipline commissioning engineers.
•Advise Lead Commissioning Engineers of any issues that may cause delays to MC, PC and commissioning activities.
•Provide detailed requirements for vendor support during Comm’g activities.
•Prepare tools, consumables, lubes and first fills, Commissioning and Pre Operations spares to support the commissioning schedule.
•Prepare commissioning procedures.
•Prepare Master comm’g documents and ensure as builts are completed.
•Identification of support labour required to support Pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
•Familiarisation on the Project Completions database (CMS) functionality and reporting tools.
•Liaising with the Completions Manager on certification issues.
•Use the MoC processes.
•Provide updates to Lead commissioning Engineer on a daily / weekly basis and advise where issues need to be resolved.
•Management of multi discipline commissioning team work activities and ensure standards are met. Implementation of dynamic commissioning in conjunction with commissioning team.
•Validate by system the certification database prior to issue requirements to Construction teams.
•Validate by system the certification database the Pre-commissioning ITR requirements prior to issue.
•Monitor MC database and progress of MC scope. Expedite MC scope for Systems
•Advise Certification and MC team of PC and Commissioning progress and updated to reflect the full status of the ITR B sheets.
•Monitoring implementation of the change control forms issued by the Lead certification co-ordinator.
•Liaising with Construction Leads and MC Manager on construction issues.
•Attending daily Co-ordination meetings (War Room) as required to co-ordinate progress and discuss issues and concerns regarding system handover dates with Construction, Quality and Contractors.
•Monitor punch lists and expedite closure
•Coordinates input to and with Operations teams for assurance of commissioning scope.
•Attendance at the Tri-Party Punch prior to Discipline Acceptance DAC (G-03) or MC-1 (G-5) handover.
•Responsible for ensuring the final commissioning procedures are recoded and reported correctly.
•Review of final certification packages from Contractors.
•Attend daily PTW and VSCC meetings (as required)
•Implement Permit responsibilities as described in Commissioning PTW procedure.
•Participate in meetings/workshops that may affect the Commissioning scope and activities.
•Develop good working relationships with onshore & offshore Operations personnel, and establish / co-ordinate Operations participation during hook-up.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Several years experience in oil and gas industry or similar industry, in an project or operations role.
Ordinary/High National/Degree Qualified
Several years completions and commissioning experience
Experience at similar level
Hands on experience of commissioning new process and utilities and facilities.
Broad appreciation of all offshore systems and logistics
Knowledge of construction and commissioning requirements and setting up of procedures
Familiarity with offshore & onshore permit and work processes.
PC application skills – Microsoft Word, Excel etc.

Committed safety leader
Extensive knowledge of Completions and Commissioning and project delivery
Excellent / proven leader of men.
Self-motivated, with a track record of successful onshore and offshore project execution
Effective prioritisation of resources
Ability to work multiple teams
Schedule and budget Control
High degree of customer and delivery focus
Ability to coach and mentor
