A global Oil & Gas operator with projects in the Caspian region

The Role:
Electrical Construction Engineer

• Ensure adherence to all HSS protocols (permitting process, risk assessments toolbox talks, etc.)
• Educate contractor on HSE expectations
• Interact with contractor counterpart to ensure progress and activities are aligned with construction schedule and specs.
• Identify potential hold backs and report potential impacts in a timely manner.
• Have regular coordination meetings with Contractor counterpart
• Ensure that work meets project technical requirements
• Be a HSE leader by setting the example to contractor’s colleagues
• Ensure all contractor queries are captured and processed following the TQ protocol. Identify key authority that should respond to the TQ and make sure that input from all relevant personnel is obtained.
• Ensure any non-conformances are reported and correction actions are discussed and approved by the corresponding authority.
• Ensure management of change process is followed
• Ensure that accurate as built docs are being generated and integrated in the document control system.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• University Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years in Field Construction
• Sound knowledge of International/applicable standards and codes
• Experience in the oil and gas industry
• Strong commitment to safety

Organized and proactive
MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
