The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Position Description:
Key tasks include:
-Develop xEV Battery Engineering standards and Design Verification Methods (DVM), based on lessons learnt, best practice, industry standards and core requirements.
-Coordinate the standard creation activities by the other team members.
- Manage and organise requirements and DVM in DOORS and RMDV2
- Work with the xEV Systems team to agree and cascade xEV Battery Systems Requirements and DVM.
- Work with Safety team to develop agree and cadcade xEV Battery Safety Requirements and DVM
- Monitor legislative requirements and capture relevant requirements and/or DVM for the xEV battery team.
- Support development of legislative standards at the relevant national and international forums.

Skills Required:
- Systems Engineering Knowledge essential
- Experience in robust component engineering development methods essential.
- Confident communicator.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Experience in using DOORS or similar requirements management tool

Skills Preferred:
The following skills would be an advantage: Safety Engineering Skills. Software Development skills. 6 Sigma green belt or black belt experience.

Experience Required:
Proven track record of applying Systems Engineering Principles in the development of complex systems and/or components.

Experience Preferred:
Experience in delivery to OEM GTDS and/or GPDS processes. Experience with WERS process. HEV, EV component development experience.

Education Required:
Degree level qualified in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic engineering or a science subject
