The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Electric Park Brake Electronics System Engineer, working within Chassis Electronics team to deliver system in accordance with program milestone requirements.
Main responsibilities:
Manage Electrical System delivery across multiple vehicle lines.
Collate feature requirements and translate into electrical system requirements.
Liaise with interfacing teams to ensure robust delivery of electrical system across all vehicle lines.
Provide regular updates to management on delivery status.
Develop robust electrical system specifications (both internal and with suppliers).
Conduct and support electrical system rig and vehicle validation, including HIL development, to ensure design meets requirements.
Develop and maintain Manufacturing & Service documentation for the Electrical system

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Good understanding of system engineering principles.
Project Management skills.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to translate system requirements into electrical interface specifications.
Ability to analyse and interpret HILST test results/reports.
Experience with electrical system development tools.
Good understanding of software development and integration processes.
PC literate.
Valid UK Driving license.
Previous automotive electrical system delivery experience. ¿ Previous experience in HILST testing for Automotive applications
Minimum HNC/HND in electrical/electronic engineering

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Working knowledge and experience of using systems: AIMS, eFDVS, GPDS, PCS
Experience of vehicle level fault finding.
Understanding of in-car Networks and Diagnostics.
Working knowledge of DOORS requirements management sw, or a similar.
Experience in Electric Park Brake or Brakes Electronics Systems.
Ideally degree qualified
