The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
In-vehicle communication network specialist to manage the deployment of new Network and Software Platform technologies into series production. Responsible for key technical and commercial design process deliverables. Responsible for defining new network design processes and standards. Responsible to lead and deliver key activities across several new technology projects, such as technical demonstrations, and to cascade new network and software platform design requirements to ECU suppliers.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Systems engineering FMEA Communication network architecture design, communication protocol design, analysis and comparison of network designs, in-vehicle network communication matrix design, network management, network gateway design, configuration of communication driver software. Excellent project management and organisation skills, leading projects and teams of experts. Excellent communication skills, written, oral and formal report writing.
Experience of in-vehicle network architecture, network management, and communication matrix design Experience of specifying and configuring in-vehicle network software platform components. Experience of working with automotive suppliers to implement OEM requirements. Proven project delivery and team leadership experience. Working with suppliers, developing robust RFQs and SOWs.
Educated to degree level in an appropriate discipline.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of functional safety processes. Technical knowledge and understanding of the clients networks and ""EuCD"" electrical architecture.
AUTOSAR BSW, Flexray, Ethernet, ISO 11898-6 Experience of the the clients GTDS and PCS processes including knowledge of the gateways, deliverables and governance.
