The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Launch engineer required to support the harness team during a busy period of programme launches at Solihull.

Responsibilities will include:
- Line support where required
- Managing and helping to contain and apply permanent corrective action to build related issues via AIMS
- Revving and getting to root cause of FMS issues
- Raising and implementing in process containments (IPC's) and Rework instruction sheets (RIS's)
- Helping to manage and support the supplier engineers during launch periods

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Have the ability to interact with a wide range of people from hourly paid to director level
- Must be very proactive and self driven
- Must have the ability to work within a fast paced, high pressure environment
- Must be a logical thinker and process the ability to stand up for doing the right thing
- Experience of working in a high pressurised environment with fast reaction times required
- Some experience of automotive preferred
