The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Key Responsibilities include: Ownership of battery specification for electric vehicle and PHEV. Manage the requirements cascade for systems such as cooling, eds, bms etc. Manage system interfaces within the team and with external teams and suppliers. Manage specification updates and ensure all parties are made aware of any changes. Ensure legal compliances are met and where necessary highlighted to all concerned parties. Safety case requirements, FMEA and safety case management.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of electronics interface and systems engineering. Hands on knowledge and skill in the area of requirements cascade including systems. Battery integration process, architecture, BMS and safety case analysis. The role may require inter site travel so a full valid UK driving licence is essential.

1 year experience working on automotive HV Battery Systems.

Qualified to at least degree level preferably in a relevant subject.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Familiarity with vehicle systems engineering, and architecture.
