The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The engineer will be tasked to lead the planning, process and final validation activities for the Connected Technology features for our current and next generation systems. The Lead Test Engineer will deliver testing and issue tracking for all new and upgraded products within the product portfolio. Leading the test team, the Engineer will act as domain expert and provide support and guidance to the test team and project participants during execution. The testing will cover the end to end delivery of mobile Apps integration including, but not limited to iOS, Android and HTML5.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Electronics, Telecoms or Software Engineering related degree
- Electronic system and software test experience
- Experience of creating testing documentation: Test Plans, Test Cases and Use Cases for manual and auto tests, Check Lists, Test Reports, Status Reports
- Ability to plan own and team work loads
- Test across the entire app life cycle (concept, design, build, deploy, release to vehicle gate process and support)
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently
- Issue management with good communication skills
- Analytical approach to problem solving
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently
- Innovative mindset, the ability to portray future vision / roadmap
- General office PC (Word, Excel, Power point, Microsoft Project)
- Interest of CE devices, future technology
- Previous team lead / supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of USB/WiFi /CAN/Ethernet network tools
- Interest in Mobile and CE devices
- Good use of information to build
