The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electrical Engineer to form part of the Operations Engineering Team to oversee all physical plant and associated equipment.

Being part of the Operations Engineering Team, the Senior Electrical Engineer will ensure that the LNG Plant is operated effectively and within company requirements. The successful candidate will join the company to work with them during various stages of the project lifecycle. During the design, construction and commissioning phases, the incumbent will be responsible for developing the Asset Integrity Management System and providing engineering support to the teams.

An integral part of this role will be ensuring an effective handover from project to operation phases. In order to do this the Engineer will be required to:
• Provide technical support to both the project and operation teams
• Develop engineering standards for the operations phase
• Provide technical assistance to develop the Asset Integrity systems including the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Develop plant and equipment maintenance strategies and procedures
• Participate in design reviews during various stages including construction
• Work with the commissioning team to develop commissioning test procedures

As the project progresses towards operations, the role will change and the Engineer will be required to:
• Manage the LNG Plant through maintenance, inspection and engineering change
• Comply with site, national and international Electrical standards
• Provide engineering support and technical advice to management regarding critical drawings
• Ensure all changes are completed effectively and efficiently
• Define the scope for shutdown and maintenance activities
• Review work scope and budgets for current and future activities

In exchange, the incumbent will be offered a permanent role working directly for the Project Owner / Operator on a CSG/CBM project at the forefront of the industry. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive market rate salary reviewed annually, in addition to an employment package which includes various benefits and annual bonuses. Furthermore, attractive relocation packages are available on either a single, partnered or family basis.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualifications, or equivalent years experience
• Demonstrated experience in a similar Engineering role across various stages of the project lifecycle
• Involvement in the Operations and Maintenance of LNG Plants, ideally including large rotating equipment
• History working on generation and transmission of HV electrical networks including switching activities
• Competence in Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas design and maintenance
• Experience developing maintenance processes and procedures for HV/LV electrical equipment including generators, motors, transformers and switchgear

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience working across onshore Oil & Gas projects and LNG Plants
• Exposure to Australian Oil & Gas projects nationally
