The Company:
An international EPC Company involved in LNG and Mining Projects. We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to work on the Gorgon project.

The Role:
The Gorgon Project includes offshore production facilities consisting of two new offshore producing fields connected by transmission pipelines to Barrow Island whore downstream scope Includes construction camp, related utilities, logistics areas and equipment, gas treatment, LNG liquefaction, LNG storage and LNG load out facilities.

The Electrical Engineer will work with an integrated owner / contractor site team for technical (design) assurance of the downstream mechanical / piping systems for temporary facilities and the LNG Plant facility through prompt resolution of

•RFIs (Requests for Information), TQs (Technical Queries), CRa (Concession Requests), NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), etc. which will come to the Site Engineering Team through the ATSMs (Assistant Technical Services Managers)

•Knowledge and application of project processes and procedures and project / industry / Australian codes

• Liaison with engineering personnel at the POC (Perth Operating Centre), LOG (London Operating Centre), and other operating centres

• Liaison with site Construction Engineers, ATSMs and other stakeholders (such as offsite module yards) support of commissioning and handover activities, support of small infrastructure projects

Candidates must have:

• Major projects experience – above $ 1 billion project value for more than 3 years / 3 years +
• Must have LNG or O&G experience preferably– Mining or coal background certainly considered
• 5 years+ LNG / O&G experience
• They must be able to demonstrate they have a Technical understanding – tracking all electrical queries
• Specific training e.g. AFTM/ Hazard Areas/ AS 3000 will also be considered

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent
•10 years of engineering experience of which 5+ are field experience in support of construction
•Ability to build effective working relationships across a multi-functional and multi-cultural organization
•Experience with Australian and international codes and standards applicable to this project
•Experience working with an integrated (owner I contractor) team is preferred
•Understanding of and commitment to leading and implementing the IIF (Incident and Injury Free) culture
and safe work practices
