The Company:
Our client is a global leader in the design and delivery of infrastructure, power and major engineering projects around the world. Their clients come to them for a wide range of advice, resources and skills - in engineering, maintaining infrastructure, managing construction, planning and strategic thinking.

The Role:
As an Electrical Engineer you will assist the Group Manager with the implementation and management of projects as part of the Plant Assessment team.

Duites will include:

• Undertaking the lead role in the field of electrical engineering when working as part of the Asset Management assessment team.
• Undertaking the electrical role in technical due diligence activities
• Providing Lenders Engineer services on large new build / retrofit projects.
• Assisting in the production of a Plant Status Document for an operational power plant, looking at the Operations, Maintenance and Commercial management of the plant throughout the complete life cycle.
• Carrying out a DSEAR assessment on new build and operational power station, to ensure compliance with statutory legislation.
• Producing a plant demolition report on the cost of demolition of the power plant at end of life.
• Auditing of operational power plants for compliance with the Asset Management Standard PAS 55
• Carrying out bespoke reviews on Technical, Commercial and Management systems
• Developing new clients and the group client base when the opportunities arise

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
As an Electrical Engineer you will have:
• Ideally a Degree in Electrical Engineering, working towards, or already holding, chartered status, HND will also be considered.
• Considerable experience working on power plant electrical equipment
• You will be fully conversant in the use of modern electrical standards, materials and manufacturing technology for large machines and their auxiliaries
• A sound understanding of the performance of large generators and motors under both normal and abnormal conditions is required
• Demonstrable experience and familiarity with process and engineering line diagrams, loop drawings, circuit and wiring diagrams

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
As part of this role you will be required to:
• Be fully mobile within country of domicile with valid national driving licence
• Be available for work in country of domicile and abroad with valid international passport
• Be willing to travel and/or work occasional weekends, national holidays and unsocial hours if required
