The Role:
JOB TITLE: Electrical Engineer
LOCATION: Corporate-All Season Place You may be assigned to work at different locations other than the Company’s premises whether on a temporary or permanent basis.
REPORTS TO: Head of Engineering dotted line to Head of Site Development

SUMMARY:
Responsible for coordinating the commissioning activities with EGAT and PEA for project management with regards to permitting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinates commissioning activities with EGAT and PEA for project management.
• Ensures that the commissioning obligations of the project are carried out.
• Supports and assist project team in developing project scope and resources.
• Performs schematic and functional tests.
• Provides technical support.
• Provides additional duties assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS & SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Moderate Business Office Noise (Example: cubicle environment, business office with typewriters/printers, light traffic)
• Ability to often sit and use hands for operating office equipment.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline. Advanced degree a plus.
• Experience in license and permitting with EGAT and PEA is a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the design and development of electrical power systems including both linear and switching power supplies, IGBT and SCR type high power inverters from kilowatts to hundreds of kilowatt sizes, bus bar design, cooling system design, circuit-breaker and wire sizing and proper component selection for long life applications. DC and AC motors and generators including wound field synchronous, permanent magnet and asynchronous applications from hundreds of watts up to hundreds of kilowatt sizes.
• Power electronics and high power electrical systems including NEC code compliance, UL compliance and overall system design.
• Standard PLC and embedded control systems and standard analog system design is a plus.
• Holds a professional engineering license.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Power industry knowledge such as wind, and/or good electrical understanding of power plant in particular.
• Electronics and electrical system CAD system proficient.
• Electrical modeling experience such as Spice or other equivalent software.
• Able to effectively manage multiple activities simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and detail oriented.
• Solutions and results oriented.
• Highly responsible and strives for continuous improvement.
• Able to travel and be willing to work in a fast-paced, scheduled driven environment.
• Good communication and team work skills with internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Good English & Thai writing skills that detail specifications, requirements and operational details of products.
