The Company:
Our client is a leading independent FTSE 250 international oil and gas exploration and production company, headquartered in London.

The Role:
Position title: Electrical Engineer
Department and Business Unit: Surface Development
Date & Version: June 2014

• Be a central figure within Company’s Electrical Engineering effort on the FSO.
• Integrate with other disciplines to ensure the electrical design is robust, compliant and fit for purpose.
• Participate in PEER reviews.
• Working as part of the engineering team.
• Interfacing with Operations and the IVB to ensure acceptance of the design, construction and commissioning effort.
• Be part of the FEED and Detail Design process.
• Definition of requirements for electrical (including power generation and distribution and instrumentation) equipment

Reporting to:
• Engineering Manager

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Skills / experience:
• Experience on FPSO / FSOs
• Knowledge of UK/North Sea regulations and UKCS rules.
• Previous experience with engineering, design, installation and operations support of electrical power systems.
• At least 5-10 year’s relevant oil & gas industry experience.
• Work experience in both EPC Contractor and Operator roles.

Qualifications
• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
