The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
My operator client has a requirement for an Electrical Engineer to be based in Darwin. The role is a permanent position. You will take ownership of the electrical equipment, distribution systems, procedures and competency requirements to ensure continued functionality.

Key responsibilities:

•Establishing performance monitoring programs
•Assuring the quality of work being executed by contractors and staff is done consistently to standards
•Trouble-shooting and investigation of failures
•Engineering improvements to plant and processes
•Optimising maintenance tasks using Reliability Centred Maintenance
•Using predictive maintenance techniques in electrical maintenance
•Inputting into turnaround plans to ensure efficiencies in major equipment maintenance.


Prior to startup you will use your experience to provide technical and operational input during Detailed Design, Construction and Commissioning. You will also be part of the development of key operations systems and processes. This may require you to be deployed to international design offices and construction yards or to assist operations readiness activities within the Perth office.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications, skills and experience:
•Current Australian working rights
•Degree in Electrical Engineering
•Experience in advanced Electrical Distribution and Power Systems within the hydrocarbon offshore and onshore environment
•Knowledge and practical skills in the application of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance techniques
•Experience of offshore electromechanical equipment, power electronic systems, automatic controls, protection and measuring systems.
