The Role:
Hardware controls interface engineer The major responsibilities include the electrical integration of base engine components to PCSE & EDS systems, ensuring overall system level functionality for correct component operation. Work in close co-operation with the component, PCSE, calibration & P&E teams. The main components are Ignition and FIE however this list is not exhaustive and may include any performance system components. Establish and maintain an interface matrix to cover all system requirements across all cross functional teams Establish and agree hardware / interface / software / calibration to support correct component functionality. Verify system level integration of components on engine and vehicle. Support Dynos \ Vehicles for troubleshooting as required. Maintain quality documentation and sign-off evidence

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
1 Electrical \ Mechanical Engineering Degree.
2 Knowledge and experience of the internal combustion engine and performance systems.
3 Understanding of quality disciplines essential
4 Excellent communication and negotiation skills essential.
Engine Engineering \ controls
Electrical \ Mechanical Engineering Degree.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Calibration \ P&E
Using electrical measurement equipment (oscilloscopes etc) is desired.
