The Company:
Our client is the largest gas producer in the Netherlands, with annual production of around 50 billion m³. 70 % of gas (37 billion m³) comes from the Groningen field and the rest from various smaller fields elsewhere on the mainland and in the North Sea (15 billion m³).

The Role:
The team is responsible for all kind of modification on gas treatment installations in the southern North Sea. There are around 52 facilities (big and small ones) in the asset . We have a multi-discipline team of around 32 engineers. Your responsibility as a Instrumentation engineer will be; Giving input/work on several modifications. For each modification we have a small team (one engineer of each discipline). The average time we have for the Asses and Select phase of a modification is around 10 weeks. As a discipline engineer you will have contact on a frequent basis with the Technical Authorities (responsible for the integrity of the equipment) of the Asset and with Operations. (The Asses and Select phase can be compared with the old Basic For Design phase). Within the engineering team the instrumentation engineer has frequently a key position therefore one of the skills should be that he/she is an excellent team player. Furthermore the team existing out engineers of different nationalities and religions.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The level of education we looking for is a BSc level or HTS+ The Skills / Experiences as shown below is a must have for this key function as he/she will have, the FEED Engineer for the Electrical discipline, in a special team tasked with the de-complexion, “Retro-fit” , of a number of installations. • Develop initial and final concept for electrical generation and distribution systems. • Generate scopes of requirements, basis of design and electrical execution plan. • Experience with developing of (key) one-line diagrams and electrical operating philosophies. • Experience with the analysis of power system and studies in ETAP, EDSA and SKM including Load Flow, Short Circuit, Static & Dynamic Motor Starting, Protection Coordination & Grading, Transient Stability and Harmonic Studies. • Drawing Office Supervision, conception and implementation of basic drawing office procedures and best practices. • Reliability, availability and maintainability studies for power distribution systems. • Cl
