The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
Main Purpose of the Role

To provide expert practical capability to use and to understand in detail the latest development in CATIA E3D electrical Design package, within the Company LCA Design tool and VOBES.

Scope of the Role

1. Responsible for developing and maintaining technical knowledge/capability
2. Developing and generating harness cable routing within the CATIA E3D environment.
3. In support of the Electrical team generate CAD models of components with E3D attributes.
4. On behalf of Electrical feature owners, package components and connect them to cable bundles within E3D and LCA structure.
5. Where necessary, generate new designs for brackets and other mounting devices, and include in the E3D/VOBES library if required.

Qualifications & Experience

- HNC in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- 1 year minimum experience working as a CATIA V5 and E3D Electrical designer, and VW VOBES Electrical Design tools.
