Electrical / Instrument and Control Team Lead

The Role:
Location: Bangkok (residential)
Contract duration: 12 monthns renewable
Package: monthly salary

Required Skills and Knowledge
- Conceptual, FEED and detailed design, in the Oil & Gas industries along with experience in other similar sectors (e.g. Petrochemical).
- DCS and PLC system specification and technical evaluation in control and safeguarding applications.
- System factory acceptance testing.
- System hardware assembly and software configuration preferred but not essential.
- Field instrument and valve specification and technical evaluation including fiscal metering.
- Instrument sizing calculations.
- Manhour estimates for design projects.
- Manhour estimates for construction and commissioning works.
- Ability to document technical issues logically and concisely, good technical writing skills.
- Good knowledge of relevant codes, regulations and standards.
- Knowledge of SIL classification.
- Experience in HAZOP/HAZID Processes.
- Experience in Construction, Commissioning support & Procurement Support.
- Ability to lead & direct teams of engineers
- Understanding of KPIs, Metrics as they relate to Engineering Design performance.

B.Sc (or Equivalent) in Instrumentation / Control System Engineering.
15 years Oil & Gas experience, preferably in offshore facilities, exposure to Wellhead Platforms highly desirable but not essential.
