The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Project Engineer Electrical. PTME Plant Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Reporting to the Plant Engineering Electrical & Controls Manager, Develop & Maintain Electrical specifications and standards for all Powertrain projects. Work with vendor's during the design & build phase to ensure all PTME electrical standards and specifications are achieved. Develop and manage Electrical Install Projects within Powertrain facilities. Commissioning of Electrical & Building Management Systems within Powertrain facilities. Provide technical expertise to team problem solving activities to accurately identify root cause and corrective actions. Assist with Electrical training for Manufacturing Operations teams.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Appropriate Engineering or Technical qualification. Previous experience of Electrical Engineering in a manufacturing environment. Excellent knowledge and experience in the application of Building Management Systems (Rockwell, Siemens or Schneider). The ability to work as part of a team is essential, as is the ability to achieve results by meeting deliverables / commitments. High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others. High level of analytical ability and creativity to problem solving activity. Minimum 2 years experience of Electrical Engineering in a manufacturing environment. Appropriate Engineering or Technical qualification.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of existing processes & procedures. Degree Level Qualified in a related Discipline.
