The Company:
Our client is a major operator in the oil and gas sector.

The Role:
· Supervise and coordinate the implementation of a site specific QMS
· Provide continuous assurance oversight of Contractor to verify the work is compliant with the requirements
· Develop and maintain Project Procedures to support the PQP.
· Good working relationship with the contractors QA/QC department will be an ongoing key job responsibility for this position.
· Shall implement and administer nonconformance, control, preventative and corrective actions, and continuously improve the QMS and monitor fabrication through the Construction Superintendant and Inspectors.
· As needed this position will establish Quality matrices for critical activities, monitor trends and provide recommendations for improvement and follow up on complex technical information and be to communicate those thoughts in English through both written and verbal reporting.
· Must be able to scale QA/QC documentation requirements to appropriate size for project.
· Develop and implement QA/QC systems during Execution Phase
· Review design and provide input to the Engineered Equipment RFQ evaluation and award recommendations.
· Ensure QAQC requirements are met by FEED engineering Deliverables.
· Provide recommendations to FEED Engineering Team to enhance the fabrication safety of the Facilities designs.
· Manage inspection of engineered equipment and materials at the point of manufacture to ensure conformance with project requirements.
· Lead periodic audits of the supplier's QA/QC system.
· Monitor supplier and inspector performance and coordinate supplier quality reporting.
· Ensure that concessions and deficiencies are properly documented and processed.
· Monitor and ensure the timely completion of manufacturer's quality data book and other project deliverables
· Ensure project plans and procedures are developed and implemented in compliance and consistent with specific location, regulatory and contractual requirements
· Provide effective quality planning to ensure that process controls and prerequisite product and service verification and inspection arrangements are established and resourced for the project consistent with criticality, statutory and contractual obligations.
· Ensure effective planning and implementation of design control, verification, validation and review activities.
· Ensure effective implementation and coordination of vendor assessment and inspection activities.
· Ensure effective implementation and verification of construction inspection and testing activities.
· Ensure effective implementation of non-conformance, corrective action, and preventive action management processes.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
· Working knowledge of fabrication techniques, applicable codes and standards, QA/QC requirements, word processing skills, experience in document control, records management and filing systems.
· University degree in engineering or equivalent with a minimum of eight (8) years QA/QC experience or a high school diploma with a minimum of ten (10) years experience.
· Minimum of ten years of experience relating to the contract's scope of work e.g. oil, gas projects of which five (5) years must be in Quality Management System activities.
· AWS CWI, CSWIP SWI or approved equivalent certifications.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
· Previous Kazakhstan project experience an advantage.
