The Role:
The Project Engineer will be responsible for the effective project engineering service, to ensure that defined projects are engineered to specification and delivered in line with planned costs. The Project Engineer will work with the management team to ensure that any re-engineering/variations to initially agreed plans are managed in accordance to company processes.

•Comply with company Health and Safety standards.
•To participate and positively contribute to all pre-commencement activities and ensure the company liability and risks on projects are minimised.
•Review and evaluate the project works required by the specification and drawings and engineer the installations and systems to ensure precise provision of requirement and profitability for the company.
•Ensure all activities, including design and installation are carried out in compliance within procedural and legislative guidelines.
•Build strong relationships with client and project team, through efficient delivery of projects.
•Monitor and ensure the work of sub-contractors is carried out in accordance to specification and programme.
•Ensure design and installation meets internal standards, client specification and statutory requirements.
•If appropriate, manage a small team on project to maximise the potential of the team and ensure team objectives are achieved.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Previous Electrical Project Engineer experience is essential.
•Experience of successfully engineering projects to time, cost and quality in technically challenging and regulated environments.
•Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant associated technical discipline or equivalent qualifications (e.g. HNC/ HND) with relevant experience.
