The Company:
Mining EPCM Company working on major projects within Western Australia.

The Role:
The Electrical Supervisor’s role is to provide support to the Electrical Superintendent through the provision of field supervision, planning, quality monitoring, coordination and construction management capabilities. The Supervisor is a Line Manager and is required to demonstrate leadership and commitment in relation to the implementation of the HSEC Procedures.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

 Implementation of all aspects of the HSEC Procedures including audits/inspections of the contractors’ areas, hazard card reporting, accident/incident investigations reporting, issue of access and work permits, behavioural based observations, conducting additional safety meetings and weekly workplace inspections/audits as and when required etc.
 JHA and Take 5 Auditing for Quality, task specific and compliance.
 Ensure that relevant contractors / consultants and personnel comply with the requirements of the HSEC Procedures.
 Actively participate in and support incident and injury free culture
 Monitor the work of contractors to ensure contract and project objectives are achieved or exceeded.
 Inspect the work under each contract daily and advise the contractor of any corrective actions.
 Ensure site entry requirements for plant, equipment and people are complied with.
 Report weekly to the Electrical Superintendent on progress in each work area.
 Attend kick-off, daily pre-start and weekly meetings with contractors.
 Provide all reasonable assistance and cooperation to contractors in the execution of work.
 Ensure compliance with Company Environmental and Heritage procedures to minimise potential impact of field activities.
 Maintain documentation relating to work on the contract.
 Resolve queries, issues, changes etc. requested by contractors
 Pre-empt problems to the progress or performance of work and recommend strategies to overcome any delay.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
HSC or equivalent; WA Licensed Electrician; previous Supervisor on EPCM Project

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
HV Transmission/Switchyard experience
