The Role:
The Electrical supervisor follows-up, monitors, coordinates the work of contractors and facilitates that works are completed according to TOTAL requirements in aspect of safety, technical conformity, quality and schedule. These duties requires a significant presence in the field.
Role is a full-time position, part of the Construction team, the job holder will however be expected to assist other lots in providing specialist expertise for electrical construction activities in agreement with the Project Manager.

Field supervision activities:
First contact for the performers of the works.
Monitoring of the assigned work and ensure that all works are carried out according to the safety rules, procedures , specifications, roadmaps , planning and quality standards.
Make regular safety walks to verify the area safety and housekeeping
Ensure that all work is carried out under the permit conditions and performing regular audits.
Examination of the quality of the work carried out and sign for correct execution on the QA / QC form.
Identify and report any damage or defects and provide solutions.
Attending and monitoring inspection and commissioning activities.
Attend walkthroughs and follow up punch lists.
Review and follow the Field Change Request forms.
During the execution focus on :
o High-quality work permits and start working consultation
o Excellent house-keeping follow-up with contractors
o Addressing opening with all parties with regards to safe and unsafe working practices and behaviour
o Maintain appropriate level of quality
o Application of 12 golden safety rules
Working with EPC Contractor supervisors in order to assist EPC in progressing the work and resolving any issues.
Close coordination with TRA electrical departments and OPTARA Electrical Superintendent so as to act as interface for EPC
contractor on technical and planning subjects.

Documentation and meetings
Review as-built documentation, as well as control received RFC files of the Contractors.
Report on a daily basis to the Construction superintendant on field activities with regards to:
o Safety
o Quality
o (possible) Scope deviations
o Progress
o Work front blockages and solutions proposed
Attending meetings of construction (at the request of Construction superintendant)

The candidate shall have the objective to ensure within limits of job holder responsibilities that Electrical works
of contractors are completed and handed over conforming to technical, quality and schedule requirements,
considering that safe execution is the first priority.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
5 years in the construction / supervision electrical position or equivalent.
Proficiency in PC's and knowledge in using Microsoft Office Products.
Excellent organization and coordination skills, as well as problem-solving skills
Team playing skills
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Flexible and open-minded
High adaptability and capable to work under stress to meet deadlines
Fluent in English and Dutch mandatory language. Knowledge of French is a plus
