The Company:
Our client is an international middle east based company, engaged in acquisition, exploration and development of petroleum throughout the Middle East area.

The Role:
Plans all corrective, and campaign electrical maintenance activities in order to facilitate related project work. Leads a team of skilled Electrical Technicians and manages interfaces with operations, engineering, to ensure that plant integrity and safe operations are maintained. Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Functional Responsibilities
1. Directs all electrical maintenance activities at LPG recovery plant.
2. Leads a team of skilled electrical technicians and act as interface between management and technical team.
3. Conversant with ICSS control systems, telecommunication equipment, power generation, electrical switch gear, power monitoring systems.
4. Leads ad-hoc teams of contract and vendor technicians for construction and maintenance work as required.
5. Ensures that plant and equipment is maintained according to compliance and integrity standards in order to meet expected reliability and ‘uptime’ Key

Performance Indicators.
6. Liaises closely with Production Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams in activity planning, engineering change and cost control.
7. Ensures that procedures for the safe execution of tasks are in place and adhered to (including Task Instructions, Permits-to Work, Task Risk Assessments, and
Toolbox Talks).
8. Ensures that all activities are accurately recorded in the maintenance management system, providing all necessary reports to the Operations support team.
9. Assists in recruiting, mentoring, training, and appraising maintenance personnel.
10. Participates in Emergency Response organization as required (this may include responsibilities in Search & Rescue and Fire Fighting).

Systems and Procedures
11. Introduces new maintenance systems and procedures which will improve the effectiveness of the maintenance functions.

Functional Policies and Guidelines
12. Develops maintenance policies and guidelines for the smooth, efficient and effective delivery of all operations.

Reporting and Communication
13. Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor on all issues relating own responsibilities.
14. Exhibits and maintains excellent working relationships with all CreDan staff.

Continuous Improvement of Position
15. Conducts studies to identify areas for improving facilities on a continuous basis in order to facilitate the operations. Recommends improvement actions and practices to senior management.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum Educational, Technical Qualifications/Certifications Required
Educated in a related Maintenance discipline

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum Professional Experience Required
10 years’ experience in gas processing, field production facilities at HND/ HNC education level Discipline training to ‘HND/HNC’ level or equivalent in electrical controls, switchgear and related equipment and its operability and functionality
