"Power Supply Systems is an area within the Powertrain Electrification Group the designs all areas of power generation, storage, management and off-board charging for vehicles.
We have responsibility for all levels of vehicles, from conventional cars, through micro-hybrid, mild hybrid, plug-in and full electric vehicles. The Power Systems Engineer is responsible for taking customer-level features and designing the appropriate system to meet those requirements, including Failure Mode Analysis, DOORS Requirements Generation"
3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
1. Must have experience of interacting with other system owners to gather requirements and work with others to create optimal system designs
2. Formal means of capturing requirements, interface analysis, Failure Mode Avoidance
3. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts, data and conclusions within the team and to stakeholders
Degree in Engineering, Software or related discipline
Knowledge of automotive product development
