The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) team design and develop all driver assist functions within our client's vehicles, covering multiple sensor types (ultrasonic, radar and camera).

This role is based in the Rear Radar element of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The team are responsible for all rear radar based features on our client's products including Blind Spot Monitor, Lane Change Merge Assist and Rear Traffic Detection.

Key Responsibilities: -
* Main supplier interface for Rear Radar commodities and features
* Manage Change Request and expenditure forecasting
* Creation and maintenance of vehicle test plans
* Detail planning of test & development
* Manage vehicle development testing to sign off
* Supporting engineering test teams with issues
* Management of team RMDV/eFDVS, decks
* Resolve issues with component engineering and vehicle attribute teams to develop designs that meet targets
* Ensure all appropriate JLR standards are met through-out design maturation
* Provide input into new feature development
* Manage and resolve issues on your projects, escalating where required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Demonstrable experience in managing multiple complex projects
* A good understanding of processes (WERs, AIMS, PCS, RMDV^2/FSOI)
* Knowledge of quality tools
* Able to work within a team including both our client's and Supplier Team members
* Able to deliver and lead projects
* Good spoken and written communication
* Educated to degree level is preferred, although other relevant engineering/automotive qualifications considered

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Knowledge of software development and release process
* Ability to use software development tools (i,e, ASL, CANalyser/CANoe)
* Six Sigma Green belt certified
