The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
To Deliver EMC Attribute Requirements for specific vehicle line, ensuring Corporate & Legal requirements are met. Lead EMC programme delivery for applicable JLR vehicle lines Inc vehicle level testing and reporting. Ensure programme EMC requirement deliverables are met in line with GPDS/PCS. Approve component EMC test plans and test results for programme/s responsible for. Lead vehicle level EMC issue resolution and propose/demonstrate potential solutions. Provide EMC technical support/advice to others, Raise and progress AIMs on component/system owners where EMC deliverables are not met.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Sound understanding of EMC/RFI & its automotive effects. Firm understanding of electronic principles. Good understanding of vehicle electrical architectures & constituent components. Excellent communication skills
Previous experience working in an EMC test laboratory or within the electronics industry as an EMC engineer Project management skills essential

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
EMC issue investigation/resolution methods. Familiar with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Vehicle programme delivery would be ideal
