The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
"The Integrated Motion Control team (IMC) is part of a newly-formed Chassis Motion Systems team. This role, within the IMC team, initially involves: - interpretation of customer requirements for core Stability Control Systems (eg anti-lock braking system, traction control, dynamic stability control) - definition of system boundaries - writing of system-level requirements - decomposition of these to sub-system owners - definition of system-level test cases This work shall apply across all vehicle lines

3 KEY SKILLS
Robust cascade of system requirements to multiple sub-systems in a controller network, preferably in the automotive industry
Experience of Requirements Management using IBM DOORS, or very similar package
Definition of test methods suitable for in-car, Software-in-the-Loop (Sil) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) validation

Experience Required: "Degree in Electronic or Systems Engineering. A mechanical or automotive engineer with post graduate experience in systems engineering may be appropriate. Knowledge of automotive Stability Control and other chassis control Systems.
Experience Preferred: "Track record in control system validation IPG CarMaker experience. Full driving licence (Cat B Vehicles). Proving ground dynamic and off-road driving experience

Additional Information : The role is based at Gaydon, but travel to other sites and to suppliers generally within the UK - may be required
