The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Position Description:
The successful applicant will be responsible for: Leading Body Domain Electrical Architecture Strategy Projects Managing a small team of System Architects providing Electrical Architecture as a Service to Body Domain projects across the business.

Skills Required:
"Key responsibilities include the following:
Lead Body Domain Electrical Architecture Strategy projects
Manage a small team of Electrical System Architects providing Electrical Architecture as a Service to Body Domain projects across the business
Facilitate meetings between stakeholders to iterate proposed Architectures to an agreed solution
Ensure System Architecture Designs are optimised for the whole vehicle, rather than individual systems or components
Liaise with Electrical Technical Leads and SME's to ensure all proposed System Architectures are feasible
Develop System Architectures that are `protected for known future extensions and/or related features/systems changes
Develop System Architectures that are compatible with System and Commodity Strategies
Benchmark competitor vehicle System Architecture implementations
Create System Architecture Diagrams of new Systems and Features using PREEvision/Visio
Present System Architecture Designs at technical reviews as required
Ensure the robust hand-over of System Architecture Designs to delivery stakeholders occurs, and continue to provide Electrical Architecture support throughout delivery.

Experience Required:
Ability to lead the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment
Self motivated, enthusiastic, pro-active, demonstrates initiative, with ability to work with minimum supervision.
Experience in developing new processes and procedures to improve quality and delivery.
Flexibility to work across other client sites as required
Able to demonstrate good project management experience and a track record of successful project delivery.
Educated to degree level.
Excellent communication skills, PC literate, especially MS office
Presentation skills
Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems

Education Required:
Educated to degree level in relevant discipline
